Jaemi is an Associate Planner specializing in comprehensive planning and active transportation. An avid cyclist and swimmer, Jaemi enjoys helping cities become healthier and happier by expanding non-motorized transportation options and activating underused spaces.
Some of Jaemi’s past projects include developing an award-winning comprehensive plan for a college town in Iowa and creating a rails-to-trails visualization for a low-income community in southern California. She has also published award-winning research on urban agriculture in Los Angeles.
A native Californian, Jaemi holds a Bachelor’s in Cognitive Science from the University of California – San Diego and a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California – Los Angeles. She currently serves as a board member of Women in Planning and Development – Chicago.
