Paul joined Houseal Lavigne Associates in 2014 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He focuses on supporting a wide variety of projects through a range of skills, including developing project websites and digital outreach platforms; reviewing past plans and synthesizing their findings with existing conditions analysis; and generating and reviewing content on urban planning best practices.
Paul became active in urban planning through his interest in developing theme parks and saw the similarities between designing land uses for diverse populations in both a unique amusement park setting and in today’s modern cities. He is motivated by two of Houseal Lavigne Associate’s founding principles, working to blend the firm’s commitment to community outreach with plans rooted in high-quality graphics.
An Illinois native, Paul is an Eagle Scout and received a minor in cinema studies as an undergraduate student.
