Downtown Plan

In conjunction with the development of an exciting Riverwalk project, the Principals of Houseal Lavigne Associates assisted the City of McHenry with the development of a Downtown Plan. The Plan identifies the location, intensity, and character of new development - including retail, restaurant, mixed-use, residential, and recreational. Design guidelines were established to direct public and private investment, and an implementation program was adopted to transform the existing Downtown into a vibrant pedestrian-oriented destination.
