Downtown Pattern Handbook

Downtown Downers Grove is a vibrant, successful, mixed-use environment experiencing significant new infill development within its historic fabric. Houseal Lavigne Associates was retained to prepare a detailed Downtown Patten Book inventorying, assessing, and establishing a framework for current and historic development patterns within the Downtown. The Pattern Book serves as the foundation for a new Downtown Master Plan, currently being prepared by Houseal Lavigne Associates. The Pattern Book establishes the basic pattern by which new infill development should be sensitively incorporated into the historically significant and architecturally rich environment.
