Community Workshop for Dempster Station Area Plan December 6, 2011

Posted Wednesday, November 02, 2011

The Village of Skokie is in the process of creating a Dempster Station Area Plan that will create a circulation, land use, and parking and development vision for the area's future. An important part of the planning process is community input. The first community workshop has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 7:00 pm to provide community members an opportunity to voice their concerns and ideas for the site. This Public meeting will occur in the Village of Skokie Council Chamber on the main level of 5127 Oakton Street, Skokie, Illinois. The meeting will focus on an area bounded by Church St. to the north, Main St. to the south, Interstate 94 to the west, and Skokie Blvd. to the east. All residents, business owners, and stakeholders are invited to attend. For those who cannot attend the meeting, but still wish to participate in the process, there are plenty of opportunities on this website to do so, including the Community Mapper tool, an online questionnaire, and feedback form—all of which are available on this website. This is the first of many meetings that will take place for the plan. Check back here for further details on upcoming events.
