About the Study

Traverse City is beginning to prepare revitalization plans for five key streets: Garfield Avenue, Eighth Street, Fourteenth Street, East Front and West Front. Our goal is to make these great streets by increasing economic vitality, increasing housing choice and enhancing the physical features of the street. We need input from citizens, business managers and property owners.

THIS SURVEY WILL TAKE 10 – 15 MINUTES.

This survey will help us gather public input and will guide our policies and recommendations for new development and investment along the City's key corridors. The survey is comprised of a series of images that will help us gauge the community's preferred development.

STEP 1: To begin the survey, click on the Play button in the middle of the first slide. Backward and Forward buttons are also available to help navigate on the sides of each image.

STEP 2: Rate each image on a scale of 1 (inappropriate/undesirable) to 5 (highly appropriate/desirable) by clicking on the stars in the corner of each picture. The survey moves quickly and is intended to capture your initial reaction to each image.
