Thank you for taking the Vision & Guiding Principles Survey!!  The Vision & Guiding Principles were drafted from information gathered in the Places Survey.  Results are posted below.  A full description of the Vision & Guiding Principles can be found under the 'Documents' tab. 

There are seven Vision Statements that establish what the community should be like in 20 years if the Plan for the City is implemented.  Each Vision Statement has 3-5 affiliated Guiding Principles that address more specific topics.  The Guiding Principles will be used when reviewing development proposals to ensure they fit will accomplish the Vision desired by the community.  The statements address the following topics:

- Sustainable City

- Growing City

- Complete Neighborhoods

- Community Character

- Attractive City

- Healthy City

- Complete Public Facilities

PLACES Survey -This survey gathered information on the places participants live, shop, work and play.  Input will be used to form the Vision and Guiding Principles that shape the way the City develops over the next 20 years.
