The next meeting of the Comprehensive Plan Committee will be held at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd, 2010, in the Committee Room of Village Hall (801 Burlington).  Please note this meeting will take place on a Wednesday.  Please confirm future dates, times and locations on this website.

The complete draft of the updated Comprehensive Plan has been posted to the project website.  The draft is under review by the Comprehensive Plan Committee and will be the subject of upcoming CPC meetings.

A guide has been developed and posted to the project website to aid the CPC in their review of proposed land use changes in the updated Comprehensive Plan.  This document is entitled, "Guide to Proposed Land Use Changes" and it can be found in the Documents section.

Updated Key Focus Area Plans for the Belmont/Ellsworth, Downtown, Butterfield and Ogden subareas have been posted to the project website.

Draft Key Focus Area Plans have been posted to the project website for four subareas: Belmont/Ellsworth, Downtown, Butterfield and Ogden.  These Key Focus Area Plans will be reviewed and discussed at the CPC's June meeting.

Two new documents have been posted to the Comprehensive Plan website: a meeting summary and draft minutes for the May 25th CPC meeting.

A draft Comprehensive Plan Vision Statement and draft Goals and Objectives are now available on the project website for download and review.

Four new documents have been posted to the project website for download and review: a summary of the April 27th CPC meeting, minutes from the March CPC Meeting, minutes from the February CPC meeting, and a presentation on "What is Comprehensive Planning?"

Beginning with the April 27th, 2010 CPC meeting, podcasts will be available for download.

The first four sections of the Existing Conditions Report & Workbook are now available for download and review.

The second meeting of the Comprehensive Plan Committee will be held at 7:00 PM. Tuesday, March 23, 2010 in the Committee Room at Village Hall, 801 Burlington, Downers Grove.  Future meetings are tentatively scheduled for the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.
