Visioning Session Summary Available

Thank you for attending the Visioning Workshop!

A special thank-you to everyone that attended and participated in the Visioning Workshop.  A summary of the workshop has been posted under the "documents" section of the website.

Using the results of that meeting, and the information gathered from previous community meetings and other research, the Consultant Team is currently creating preliminary focus area plans for key areas within the Village.  The preliminary plans will be presented to the Planning and Zoning Commission in the next two/three months.  An exact date has yet to be determined, but it will be posted on this project website once the time and location are set.

 
Visioning Workshop - February 23, 2010
 
The next step in the process to update the Village’s Comprehensive Plan is a Community Visioning Workshop. The structure of the workshop will allow for residents, business owners, elected and appointed officials, and others to work together in creating a vision for the community. 
 
The Workshop will include both small and large group working sessions to review and discuss conditions and potentials within the Village.
 
The large group will work together to identify issues and opportunities, and the small “breakout” groups will work together to develop “visions” for the future of the community.   The meeting will conclude with general agreement regarding the long-term role and character of Mundelein and the projects and improvements that will be desirable in the future.
 
The Community Visioning Workshop will be held at:
