WORKSHOP #1 – Economic Development & Entrepreneurship
Wednesday, August 19 • 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. • Fond du Lac Family YMCA, Multipurpose Room

Are you interested in Fond du Lac’s economy and ways to grow and strengthen it? Join the conversation as we address diversifying the region’s employment base, fostering an entrepreneurship and small business startup environment, creating jobs and growing wages, as well as strengthening Fond du Lac’s economic competitiveness through infrastructure and education investments. Lunch will be provided.

WORKSHOP #2 – Community Identity
Wednesday, August 19 • 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. • Agnesian HealthCare, Plaza Level Conference Center

How is Fond du Lac perceived within Wisconsin and the Fox Valley region? Join us to share your thoughts on community pride, our region’s identity, and developing a unique niche over the next 20 years. Identify strategies to better publicize Fond du Lac and share its recent success stories, as well as develop strategies to promote Fond du Lac as a vibrant, successful community with a widely known and positive identity. Light refreshments will be served.

WORKSHOP #3 – Attracting & Retaining the Next Generation
Wednesday, August 19 •  7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. • Agnesian HealthCare, Plaza Level Conference Center

Home from college for the summer? Calling all post-secondary students, college-educated young professionals and younger residents! Envision Fond du Lac needs your help to identify strategies to both retain young people who grow up in the community, as well as how to recruit young families and professionals to the area (including those who work in Fond du Lac, but choose to live elsewhere). Light refreshments will be served.

WORKSHOP #4 – Neighborhood Livability
Thursday, August 20 •  7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. • Fond du Lac Family YMCA, Multipurpose Room

Are you interested in topics that impact how Fond du Lac appeals to people as a place to live? Your input is needed to identify strategies to improve and elevate Fond du Lac as a community that experiences a high level of residential reinvestment and a robust quality-of-life. Light refreshments will be served.
