Downtown Subarea Plan Presentations on May 23rd and June 17th

Residents and business stakeholders of Glen Ellyn are invited to join the initial public review of the Downtown Subarea Plan by the Plan Commission on May 23rd, 7:00 p.m. at the Glen Ellyn Civic Center. The Downtown Subarea Plan addresses the following topics:

  • The overall vision for Downtown
  • Downtown zoning and height limitations
  • Downtown parking, circulation, and public transit
  • Redevelopment opportunities including 3 Downtown “catalyst sites”:
    • McChesney & Miller property
    • Fire Station property at the northwest corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Main Street
    • US Bank site at the corner of Forest Avenue and Duane Street

The next formal public review of the Downtown Subarea Plan will be by the Village Board on June 17th. We hope to see everyone there!

 

***UPDATE: The May 23rd public review has been rescheduled to May 30th, 7:00 p.m. at the Glen Ellyn Civic Center.***
