The Zoning and Sign Code Rewrite cannot be completed without the participation of residents, business owners, and other stakeholders from throughout the community. Your input and ideas are important and the City needs to hear what you have to say.

The first opportunities to get involved will be at the Residential Areas Workshop, Commercial and Industrial Areas Workshop, and Sign Code Focus Group. The purpose of these workshops is to allow residents, property and business owners, developers, and all other stakeholders to provide input before any recommendations are made. The workshops will: (a) review the purpose of the Zoning and Sign Code Rewrite, and (b) hear stakeholder’s views regarding challenges and issues with current codes and regulations.

The workshops and focus group will be held on October 7, 2019, at the Verona City Center located at 111 Lincoln Street.

• Commercial and Industrial Areas Workshop: 12:00pm – 1:00pm
• Sign Ordinance Focus Group: 1:30pm – 2:30 pm
• Residential Areas Workshop: 5:00pm – 6:00pm
